أكد سفير الاتحاد الأوروبي في القاهرة كريستيان بيرجر أن مصر تلعب دورا مهمًا في الشؤون الأفريقية وأن مشاركة الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي في القمة الأوروبية الأفريقية دليلا على ذلك.
جاء ذلك في معرض تعليق رئيس وفد الاتحاد الأوروبي في مصر على القمة المقبلة بين الاتحاد الأوروبي والاتحاد الأفريقي المزمع عقدها بعد غدٍ الجمعة في بروكسل.
توجه الرئيس السيسي إلى العاصمة البلجيكية بروكسل اليوم للمشاركة في القمة الافريقية- الاوروبية، حيث تأتي مشاركته من أجل التركيز على مختلف الموضوعات التى تهم الدول الأفريقية، خاصة ما يتعلق بتعزيز الجهود الدولية لتيسير اندماجها فى الاقتصاد العالمى، بالإضافة إلى تأكيد ضرورة تقديم المساندة الفعالة لهذه الدول فى سعيها لتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة 2030، ونقل التكنولوجيا.
وقال بيرجر، في بيان تلقى موقع الصداقة نسخة منه، "ستوفر القمة فرصة فريدة لإرساء أسس شراكة متجددة وأعمق بين الاتحاد الأوروبي والاتحاد الأفريقي، مع أعلى مشاركة سياسية، قائمة على الثقة والفهم الواضح للمصالح المشتركة. وبهدف تحقيق رخاء أكبر ، تهدف القمة إطلاق حزمة استثمار أفريقية أوروبية طموحة ، مع مراعاة التحديات العالمية مثل تغير المناخ والأزمة الصحية الحالية. سيبحث القادة أيضًا أدوات وحلول لتعزيز الاستقرار والأمن.”
وأضاف "تلعب مصر دورًا مهمًا في الشؤون الأفريقية، والمشاركة النشطة للرئيس السيسي نفسه في هذه القمة الرئيسية هي دليل إضافي. سيكون لمصر أيضًا دور عالمي رئيسي في وقت لاحق بصفتها الدولة المضيفة لقمة المناخ COP 27".
EU Ambassador to Cairo lauds Egypt’s role in Africa
Assadakah Cairo - Egypt is playing important role in the African affairs, said the Head of the European Union Delegation to Egypt Ambassador Christian Berger in a statement, Assadakah got a copy of. Berger’s remarks come two days before the start of EU/AU summit in Brussels and shortly after President Abdul-Fattah al Sisi flew to the Belgian capital to participate in the summit. “Egypt plays an important role in African Affairs, and the active participation of President Al Sisi himself in this key Summit is a further demonstration. Egypt will also have a key global role later on as host of COP 27,” said Berger. “The summit will present a unique opportunity to lay the foundations for a renewed and deeper EU-AU partnership with the highest political involvement and based on trust and a clear understanding of mutual interests,” Berger went on to say, adding “With a view to greater prosperity, the aim is to launch an ambitious Africa-Europe Investment Package, taking into account global challenges such as climate change and the current health crisis. The Leaders will also be talking about tools and solutions to promote stability and security”.
L'ambasciatore dell'UE al Cairo elogia il ruolo dell'Egitto in Africa
Assadaka - L'Egitto sta giocando un ruolo importante negli affari africani, ha affermato in una dichiarazione il capo della delegazione dell'Unione europea in Egitto, l'ambasciatore Christian Berger, di cui Assadakah ha ricevuto una copia. Le osservazioni di Berger arrivano due giorni prima dell'inizio del vertice UE/UA a Bruxelles e poco dopo che il presidente Abdul-Fattah al Sisi è volato nella capitale belga per partecipare al vertice. “L'Egitto gioca un ruolo importante negli affari africani e la partecipazione attiva dello stesso presidente Al Sisi a questo vertice chiave ne è un'ulteriore dimostrazione. L'Egitto avrà anche un ruolo chiave a livello globale in seguito come ospite della COP 27", ha affermato Berger. "Il vertice rappresenterà un'opportunità unica per gettare le basi per un partenariato UE-UA rinnovato e più approfondito con il massimo coinvolgimento politico e basato sulla fiducia e su una chiara comprensione degli interessi reciproci", ha proseguito Berger, aggiungendo per una maggiore prosperità, l'obiettivo è lanciare un ambizioso pacchetto di investimenti Africa-Europa, tenendo conto delle sfide globali come il cambiamento climatico e l'attuale crisi sanitaria. I Leader parleranno anche di strumenti e soluzioni per promuovere stabilità e sicurezza”.
